About Kingspan

The Kingspan Group was founded in 1972 as a small family business in the Republic of Ireland. The Group was initially involved in manufacturing metal cladding and roll-formed structural sections. During the early 80s and 90s, the Group expanded into manufacturing insulated panels and insulation products, and established manufacturing plants in the U.K., Ireland and throughout Europe.

Kingspan entered the North American market in 2007 with the acquisition of Zeroloc and Coldmatic companies in Canada. In August 2008, Kingspan acquired the Metecno group of companies in Deland, Fla., Modesto, Calif., and Columbus, Ohio. Most recently, effective October 1st 2010 Kingspan US and Kingspan Canada integrated into a single business – Kingspan Insulated Panels North America

The integration positions the company to deliver improved service offerings, provide a more complete product selection and implement industry best work practices, leveraging the combined capabilities of the previously separate companies and the broader resources of Kingspan global operations.

Kingspan high performance insulated metal panels deliver proven sustainable performance in a single component system. We believe in the effectiveness of an EnvelopeFirst™ high performance roof and wall green design strategy.

Behind these effective products and systems stands a company that believes in a green future. As an industry leader that recognizes the serious challenges facing our global ecosystem, Kingspan is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its business operations, products and services.
